I felt death breathe upon my neck
She whispered that this was the only way She clawed at my heart controlling my hands To claw at my own flesh, to tear my body apart I felt death breathe upon my neck But my heart intoxicated my senses And into her arms I fell Dreaming of the past Time chased my down and choked my fears. I felt death breathe upon my neck I felt the blood run down my arms, The stinging through my body The tears trickling down my face. I felt death breathe upon my neck And I threw my weapon at her Held my arms over my head so that I may hide from her empty gaze. Screaming did nothing, for she took my voice away.
